Shannon has experience in working within a call centre where she completed a Certificate in Business Administration in 2002-2003. Approximately four years later,
Shan decided it was time to take on a new challenge and entered the early childhood sector taking on a permanent relieving role within a centre in Christchurch.
Shannon decided the next step for her was to begin studying in 2007 for a Diploma of Teaching ECE through the New Zealand College of Early Childhood Education. In May 2010 Shannon joined the team at Dunsandel Childcare & Preschool as a cherished teacher and team member. Shannon became a fully registered teacher in 2014. She enjoys the challenges the job brings and thrives that every day is different while respecting the uniqueness of each individual child.
In her spare time, Shannon loves to be outdoors walking and running with her dogs and is also a very handy darts player.
